Hi everyone,
So I'm new at putting my thoughts about this into words so please bare with me. I'm really confused if I was covertly sexually abused as a child. When I was younger, 8-10 and maybe longer, my uncle would babysit me often. He was my absolute favorite person in the world. He would always bring his camera over, and we would play games that involved him taking pictures of me naked, jumpropping naked, play some form of truth or dare that invovled stripping. He would also roll his shorts up when he would sit so his penis would be hanging out the bottom. He would get upset if I didn't let him take my picture, or asked if I could keep my clothes on. After I moved and went through puberty, I forgot about these events. He also ended up being a lowlife who I haven't seen in a very long time. They reaccured to me within the past month or so, and I don't know if I remember everything about it. I constantly felt like the people I love and trust are going to betray me and get anxiety when it comes to things like sending nudes, struggle saying no to people, have issues trusting people, and undisclosed anxiety.
What is this? Am I crazy or being dramatic, or was I potentally abused?

Upon his departure, he remarked, "I am in many people’s pockets; no one will believe you." Have you ever grappled with the silence that follows sexual assault, where the perceived impossibility of being believed necessitates self-censorship?

By the way, you wrote that you have trouble sending nudes. Please don't do that!!! I wish all young people understood that there is never any good reason to do that - it can come back to haunt you.
I hope you will think about therapy to address the issues you have as a result of your uncle's sexual abuse and betrayal of trust.
I also second donnawanda in not sending nudes. You were abused as a child, please, don't do anything that can leave you open to new abuse. Stay safe.
