ok so i told my conselor that my other brother (luke)had praticipated in it as well and well she had to call dhs to make sure that it was reported because i coudn't really remeber if i had told or not about the other brother. so the dhs worker came and he talked to my parent's about it and then he talked with me and then talked wiht my parent's again. but he asked me what we all did and like all these's really hard question's that i didn't want to answer but i did. it was hard to tell him thing's because my counselor told me that if there was any new information that the case would have to be retried again and i also heard him telling that to my parent's and so i don't all remeber what i told them and i'm scared i'm goint to have to go throught all that again and retire i care. ahhhh. and i have been having this certain flash back about my brother (luke) and i can't tell if it's real or not. like it seem's so real and i think it is but i can't remember all of it i just can see and remember the beginning and i think that if i told them about this flash back that the case would deffinatly be retried again. but i don't want to bring it up cuz i'm not 100% sure that this really happend but i'm pretty sure it did. i just don't know what to do about it. it just feel's so real like my other flash back's. idk please help me idk what to do.

So, I'm kinda confused about what happened but I think I got it. I'd tell your counselor about the flashback. From what I can tell, she understands what happened and would therefore have insight into what you should do. If you need anything just message me. I hope you get this figured out.

I agree tell your counselor she/he can help you figure it out.If it is coming up like other flashbacks then I would bet a million that it happened sorry to say that.I have had that experience with some of the abuse I went through and realized later it had happened.

Calm down, relax. Take a deep breath. If you are not sure that it happened, or even if you are positive it happened, how much of a difference will it make? I know it will make a huge difference to the emotional toll you will suffer, but in the case itself, will it be vital? If not, leave it be. I want to see you get justice, don't get me wrong, but not at such a great expense. Ultimately it is your choice, and a difficult one at that. I am here if you want to talk, ok? Please try to get your mind off of it, you deserve to enjoy yourself, even in the midst of misery. Take care.

I agree with warpedand twisted- is it really going to make a big difference in the case? Cause it sure sounds like it's going to take a lot out of you. And in the end, your healing has to take the priority. Absolutely discuss it with your therapist, but I think you need to take care of yourself as well through all this.

umm idk if it will make a difference but i know if i tell my counselor she will have to report it cuz i'm 16 so i think she has to and it will be new evidence and then i will have to go to trial again. if there is a difference in what was told the frist time to what i told now i will have to go and the case will be tryed again.
