I know this seems odd, but whenever I talk to someone about my experiences, I get extremely painful cramps and bleeding. The first time this happened I thought it was a coincidence, but it is EVERY time I talk about it. I tried doing some research but so far I have come up short.

On whatever days I have therapy and I know I'm gonna have to talk about it, I get stomach cramps and diarrhea all day. Sometimes our bodies can be very in tune to our thoughts and words and react accordingly. I'm sorry this is happening to you. You may want to consider going to a OBGYN, to double check on the bleeding.

I definitely think there is a mind/body connection. I just don't know where to point you to for research. Have you googled somatic memories, or body memories? And I would check with your OBGYN to see if there could be another cause for bleeding or if all is normal.

Massage therapist have found that memories can be stored in the muscles. When a certain muscle is massaged a flood of emotions can come out. It is the same with what you are experiencing. When you remember such horrible things your body tends to react to those memories.
