I am so excited for change--this country needs a complete overhaul!!

In the meanwhile I will pray that the secret service does a great job in protecting our new President so he has the opportunity to put these changes into motion and do what he was elected to do for our country and for us. Unfortunately, there are a lot of prejudiced and stupid people out there and I expect a few of them to be stupid enough to try to take a pot shot at him. I pray for his safety. We have come a long way. Some are still stuck in stupidity.

What a day in history!!!
Obama a boy of mixed race, of humble beginnings from a broken home,raised by a single mom and his gradmother now President of the USA.
What a great message for ALL children of this country.
It was a great day for animals and the environment too, Biden has a 93% approval rate regarding animal rights issues, Obama 85%, MCain only 36% and Moose-alini (Palin) has no approval ever, only a HORRIBLE, ALARMING record of cruelty and disregard who biologists and scientest called ABYSMAL.

I too have been concerned for Baracks safety. All I can do is ask that God protect him while he is serving his term as President. He, in my opinion is the change this country is in dire need of. There is an article in Rolling Stone which my son gave me a copy of regarding the character of McCain. Since I feel as tho I am very intuitive, each time I would see McCain, I literally got this sick feeling in my stomach. Hmmmm. I am not here to bash McCain, but if he won I think I would have moved to Canada, or maybe some far off island. lol

Thank gwad Mr McCain thought that all of us women who were Hillary supporters(speaking for myself)were going to run and support him for picking another woman for VP.
Hillary had the history and record of pro-action in so many issues, one being abuse and neglected children and adoption.
While she was not pro-life she also had a record on working to reduce abortions, ect...
Alasks has 6 times the Natinal average of child sexual abuse and rape.
An issue Their Gov has done nothing about yet she spent 400.000 of state tax money to campaign for the cruel aerial huntings and offer a bounty of 150, for every severed foreleg of killed wolves, allowing the orphan pups to be taken out of their dens and shot.
Palin was NO Hillary, and we women in this country aren't as stupid as McCain thought we were, but his underestimating us served in our favor, mwahahaha......

She literally had to carry full term her father's child. To think that any woman who was raped by a father, or any man, and had to carry that child and give birth to that child, I think would be unbearable for that woman. Thus my being pro choice. But for now we don't have to worry about Palin and her "family values".

I need to say this in here. It's probably wrong of me but I really need to vent because right now I am feeling a little upset. I had tears in my eyes last night when I watched Baracks speech. I felt the warmth of human nature, that it was long over due. I was so touched that finally an African American was in presidency. It should have not taken this long. I am very big on equality, I am sick of racist rubbish. BUT then I hear that 70% of African Americans voted against gay marriage in California. So here is a group of people that have been treated like shit and have fought for their civil rights for far too long and then they go and vote to stop another group of people who have been treated like shit and second class citizens, from having their civil rights. I am fuming. I am sick of the struggle with my own low self esteem due to the past and now once again my rights have been chucked out the window. But on the bright side, I know I would never deny anyone their civil rights, no matter how much I disagreed with their lifestyle. I am proud that I am not that type of person. America still has a long way to go in terms of civil rights. When a black, gay, woman becomes president then America should be incredibly proud.

It shows that all people are equal and here in Australia we are a group from many different countries. I hope he does well and he was my favorite even though I could not have a say living in Australia

iam happy and i think it is about dam time that we had out first African American Predisent but on the flip side i would of not made him predisent if i had a say b/c he was pro abourtion and stem cell research and that upset me and the fact that i also think he is going to get assanitated durring his term or after b/c of racisum and there as already been a African American church burnt down and there not even sure if it was intunally or not yet but i can see where this is headed and this obama family's 1st generation over here from another country and they made a national barack obama day from were his ma was from and he knows plenty of terriost and and things like that and giving the fact that his ma was an imgrant and he knows what he does i wounder if he is going to make our war more of a challenge for us and i did not like his ecomey system and we are all going to be hurting soon and very bad money wise
