My doc is weaning me off Effexor. I am in the second week of titrating down. 37.5 mg every other day.

My head hurts, my body aches, I feel like crying, I'm exhausted and I feel like I have low voltage wires running through my body.

Anyone else had the experience. Is there anything I can do to make it better? How long will it last?

6:30 pm here and I have to go to bed :-(

Oh my goodness that sounds awful. Maybe you are coming off it too fast for your body. I know when i went off paxil i did it over a month amd a half.

I do hope this clears up for you soon.

You need to call dr. cuz there is things to help you come off meds. You dont need to suffer like this. Keep in touch and let me no how doing. Hugs, Lisa

I cross-tapered onto zoloft and buspar.
...I wasn't on Effexor very long though, I figured out it made me go berserk within 3 weeks or so of starting.
