i saw this actually last year and i don't know how i got through it, it was definitely something you don't get to hear every day

Too bad I missed it..I would have liked to hear what these "gentlemen" would have to say for themselves.

I found it fascinating but also really sad that except for one of the men noone was apologetic fo what they did. They just seemed to pass it off as a sickness rathe than acknowldging tha what they had actually done was hurt the child/ren.

I watched it and agree with Tyzz that I did not hear a lot of remorse from the men except from the one guy, the one with the red shirt on. He did seemed somewhat remorseful about what he did.

I watched this when it aired in February. If you go to her website, you can watch the entire interview, which I did after I watched the show. It didn't help me much. All it did was show me how they justify the abuse to themselves. I was disgusted. The one guy, long hair and a beard, was the only one who was remorseful. He actually said that he had killed who she was, had destroyed what she could have been. Ya think?!!! He abused her for like, 12 years or something crazy like that.

I saw this in Feb. too...and I agree the guy with the long hair in the red shirt was the only one who seemed remorseful. The statement about killing who she was, was very on the mark..sadly enough.

The 2 on either end disgusted me most....

the old man clearly still doesn't understand what's going on. And the guy on the far right ...i don't think he's remorseful at all.

I agree that the guy in the red shirt is the only one who seems like he cares at all about how much he screwed up his victim...like when he was talking about how it was unforgivable and that she shouldn't have forgiven him and he doesn't deserve it...and all that stuff...made him cry. I was on the verge of tears myself, but only because I wish my abuser was remorseful, but I know for a fact that he isn't.

is this where, they get sympathy

No sympathy here for any of those men. At all. I believe that when people cross the line they should pay the consequence. I don't think that people who abuse are likely to be rehabilitated either. They manipulated, lied and cheated to get their way, they will do it again if the opportunity is there. When I watched the interview, I was hoping to have a better understanding as to why someone would do this to a child. All it showed me is that people are really f*^^((( up.

I was only able to get through a few minutes. The older guy and his hopeless depravity pushed a button with me. I may try to watch it again however.

This program is not for the weak of heart as survivors. Brought up a lot of rage and anger when I watched it. Oprah is one brave person as a survivor herself to even talk to these guys. I was watching her expression and also Lisa Ling on the other video and saw disgust in their eyes. If not disgust there was this uneasiness. No sympathy for any of the men I saw on this show. If any of these men were abused as children, which I am not sure they were, it is never an excuse to reabuse. I personally could never, ever hurt a child. So I do not get that there are people who are so evil that they would follow thru with abusing a child and literally ruin their lives. This is a sickness!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think all perps should be put on an island and never to return to the normal world . Sick people who are perps should not enjoy the freedom that they are still getting. They took our freedom away and all here have not been the same. It follows us every day of our lives.
