Hi I was sexually abused/raped and severely tortured by my dad and my brother throughout my childhood from age 8-18. I am having counselling for it now which I suppose has made me more aware of my feelings and my reactions. Problem being now I live in so much fear of how I feel. I feel scared and depressed all the time and scared of my own feelings and irrational thoughts. Have so many barriers which I struggle to get past and find it all so hard to talk about.

It would be good, if you can, to take some time out from those difficult thoughts and feelings by reading or watching or listening to or doing something uplifting. Different things work for different people. Getting into nature or gardening helps a lot of people. Books, movies, music.

I was molested by two family members (ages 1-6) and I recently I remembered being raped by the high school teenager who lived next door (ages 6-11) and violently rape by one of my Mom's friend's adult son Jeff (ages 4-11).
I have been remembering bits and pieces of the rapes for the last three years. In August I turned 50 and had to have my first colonoscopy. Unfortunately that brought up memories with Jeff that were buried pretty deep in my subconscious. The past seven months have been tough, but when I start to struggle I watch YouTube videos on how to make dollhouse furniture.
