For whatever reason Nassar is important for you, I would say you should post about it.. It might help you feel better.

I can understand how frustrating it might be to feel something is very important and needs discussion. Why not start the discussion yourself and converse with others who also feel as you do. and thus grow the support.

I have a lot of thoughts on this subject. I'm just not sure I can put them into words yet.

I read one of the girls found it therapeutic to write her impact statement. I think I may write one for myself one day. Wished I could have back then, but I'm not sure I would have had the words and 15 that I do at 38.

I for one will never forget the jerry sandusky scandal. having never had counseling, the description of the grooming process hit home with me. It was like oh, that makes sense. that's exactly what was done to me. then this nassair, the ability to look a mom in the face knowing what they were doing and act like a "normal" dr or person , hit home for me. these monsters walk amongst us, they look like us, they act like us, they come in all shapes and sizes and ages. you don't realize they exist until it happens to you or someone you love. it so important we continue to tell our stories whether is be here or the news. or maybe some aren't ready yet that's ok. but our stories can help educate the people out there who live in denial that they aren't real. our stories can help others to speak, our stories can help educate parents. our stories allow us to help each other. sorry ya'll on my soap box today. love to you all. virtual hugs.

I know someone who knew Nassar and the olympic coaches. She says there are more to than what is posted in the news. These girls spent hours away from home. The coaches would tell the parents that there their girls had a chance to go to the olympics and so the parent thought the coaches knew best. These coaches were physically and emotionally abusive so the girls would turn to Dr. Nassar who gave the girls treats. Since the environment was very competitive, the girls traveled across the country without family.
