Having said that, you do need to talk. They might not be the best to keep talking to. Have you considered a counselor?
But family members may not be capable of that. Your best bet would be to find a counselor. I found a therapist by calling the hotline at RAINN.org.
You can also talk about it here, and journal here or offline. You can set your DS journals to private or "friends only" if you want.
If you do discuss details of abuse just put a TW in the title so people don't get ambushed by triggering material. TW means "Trigger warning."
