i talkedto my older cousin today..(female) and i told her that i was abused....big step....(she was abused by the same person when she was younger but it didnt go far cuz she told her mom) we started talking and she was flippin gout in a good way i guess...like "why didnt u tell me" "omg!" "i cant believe this happen to u" and asked if he got in trouble and i said no. and she said how she prays that nothing happens to her little half sister, my baby cuz. and we both said if it does we will kill him and hate the fam. i asked her wat he did to her and she told me they played a game that me and him played all the time. it felt soo good to talk to her. i knew i was never alone but just having someone who went thru the same exact thing felt good.

I'm sorry that your cousin was abused, but it is good that you don't feel so alone anymore. Have you reported your abuser? Maybe some justice could be done now that there are two of you who could report him.

no i didnt because this side of the fam would hate me....when i told last yr and all the people were in and out of my life like the state and detctive my mom kept telling me to lie and called him and told him not to answer his phone. yea i mglad we have each other now and she said the same thing..she said she never talked about it before til i asked

Thank u! I was soo scared to....wen everything happened her mom took her and moved so far away to another state so I haven't seen her since then and I miss her so muchh ...she's my only girl cousin that's closer to my age. She asked slot of questions nut I didn't mind at all and I isn't even have to tell her who it was she knew and it was just nice that someone cared so much... Last yr wen I told it was horrible all I did was get ridiculed by the family

If your little baby cuz is around him you can bet your bottom dollar she is next. If the two of you went to the police together you could lean on each other for support. Protect your baby cuz, the two of you may be all she has...

I'm glad you were able to talk to your cuz. Just having someone, anyone validate what happened to you feels wonderful.

my baby cuz doesnt go by him alot...except if my uncle takes her to my aunts house.....but she lives with her mom so its not often. no body considers this sexual abuse they said it was a kid thing even for my girl cousin too everytime i bring her up it gets dismissed...i dont wanna go to the police but i know now i would never leave my future kids with him...maybe he changed..idk ?but that trust will never be back

eff that. no offense but he won't change. I thouht the same thing about my dad -well maybe he will change. Its bull. When my friend who I confided in went to the police and Mark got kicked out of my house I was sooooo relieved. But then when my mother begged and pleaded for me to let him back in the house -swearing up and down that she would never let me alone with him and blahblahblah-i finally gave in and let him....then after like a month i was ALWAYS home alone with him. I hate my family for what they have done and i dont care that my entire family hates me because of the police being told. they can ridicule me all they want, i need to be sure I'm safe. And I think you really should go to the police. if yoru family truely loves you they will forgive you eventually, and if they dont forgive you, clearly your better off without the lot of them.
