How you are feeling is very normal for what you have been through. It's not easy being happy when someone has hurt you so much. I do not know if you are bipolar or not but sometimes after going through these types of traumas we are prone to mood swings - so you may be very happy one minute and very depressed the next. If you can get help from a therapist you would be able to talk about what happened to you and heal it so the mood swings stop. I hope you can find someone to tell in your family or at school.
I don't think that your family is as happy as you think that they are, but perhaps they are. Most people like to pretend they are happy on the outside, but who am I to judge because I'm a pretty happy person in general. I believe that it is pretty normal to have ups and downs, but the quickness with which you switch determins bipolar disorder, if I'm remembering correctly. As far as depression goes, it is a little more complex. Here is a link to read about it: http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/depression/basics/definition/con-20032977
I would suggest seeking help with a councilor/therapist as well, if you can do so. I would think that talking about this (if only to us) will help you work through it. I hope that everything works out, and please keep us updated. There is love and understanding here for you. Hugs
