i don't really understand my problem....... i have never been raped in my life.
but as far as being molested, i don't know because i don't remember.
i've always had a subconscious fear of someone being around me when i sleep, so i sleep with a pillow over my lower body. when i have friends that sleep over, i wake up at the sound of any discreet noise, feeling COMPLETELY paranoid.
and sometimes when i watch movies that involve rape scenes, i get sick and have to stop watching.
my parents have given me baths when i was younger but i always remember feeling weird when my dad did it.
i have never told anyone this before.. maybe ive always denied being sexually abused that i began believing it myself... but can someone please talk to me because i dont tell anyone this.

I always locked my bedroom and bathroom door- even when I lived alone. I believe there is always a reason for this sort of vigilance- perhaps abuse, or perhaps some other scary event(s).
My only suggestion is that you surround yourself with safe and supportive people. If there is something hidden, it may not show up until you are in a safe enough environement to begin to heal from it. Be gentle with yourself.
I will share with you what happened to me. When I was 16-17, i started having crazy dreams of abuse and had shadows of memories of my father in my bed. I kept quite for a long time. One day, I confronted him and he admitted that he had "messed" with me but would not give any details.
As best I can remember now, the abuse happened when i was around 9. I am 36 and remember bits and pieces of what happened. I am just starting to really DEAL with the feelings that i have as a result of the abuse.
