*SORRY IN ADVANCE FOR IT BEING SO LONG*From the time i was a little girl i can remember him coming in my bedroom at night taking of him bottoms then mine which led to more sometimes my step-mom would help him and she would say it was okay for her to do it because we had the same parts. I always lied to my mother and grandmother about it because i wasnt supposed to tell because it was a secret.But one day at school my 6th grade teacher told us to write a few things down that we wished she knew about us so i did,after she read it she called my social worker(I've been in and out of care all of my life) and the police arrested both my dad and his wife but even after them being put in jail i still can't seem to sleep at night or not have a nightmare and my nana(grandma) always tells me it okay but i don't know if i believe her.
I am so sorry that you were hurt by people who should have protected you. Yes, counseling is something to consider. Is your mom in the picture, to ask her to make an appointment or is your nana your care giver? Can you ask her, would she be open to doing that for you?
and yes, you will find a lot of good people here who understand and will support you.
