When another member starts bringing a lot of negativity to a positive, supportive site, What do you do?
If you have tried to address them and set some appropriate boundaries and yet they turn it back on you and start blaming you for their issues, it is best to ignore their posts. Report them to the DS team - at the VERY bottom of each page you will find a "Report Abuse" tab - click on it and this will take you to a form that you can fill out and explain why you feel this member is needing to be reigned in.
If nothing happens and the abuse continues - keep reporting. The team is trying to figure out where the blame lies and what to do, so be patient and DO NOT LET the member "bait" you into inappropriate behavior online - you are better than that and their opinion is not worth you being censured.
In time, they will be banned - this is just the result of negative behaviors on such a site.
Not everyone who vents is abusive - but it you try to reach out and talk to them in a no nonsense way and they turn it into conflict no matter what, their problems will not be solved by back and forth conflict - do not let them pull your chain. DS will take care of it if given time to sort out what is going on and why.

And that is why I posted this - I can deal with others trying to abuse me as I understand such conditions as personality disorders and such - but I know not everyone is able to do so. And this does not just go for you - if you see ANYONE abused online, it should be reported as that is just not acceptable behavior.
I do hope you and others will feel comfortable in posting what you need to post - if not, then tell DS - the NEED to know that their site if being corrupted by individuals with ulterior motives. Please read through the OTHER posts - the positive, life affirming ones which offer hope, not doom, gloom and despair. This is just another trial that we go through at times, though I must admit it is SO rare here at DS - but there are safeguards in place. Use them. And if need be, post PM to people that seem to be on your wavelength - most I know LOVE to share and help. This will not continue for long - DS will ban them once they have enough complaints and proof that the person is here to spread negativity and such.
