I gone through Shamanic training and have done a number of healings for people. I started by working with a shaman on helping me heal from my past. I found this is to be one of the most powerful methods of healing.

One word of caution -- be sure you're working with someone you know is good and who you trust. My first shamanic healing was performed by a woman who didn't know what she was doing and it was re-traumatizing.

Take it slow, trust yourself and have the healer stop if anything doesn't feel right.

Have you read any of Sandra Ingerman's books. I would recommend "Soul Retrieval."

She goes into detail about how trauma fragments our spirits and souls and how she has recovered missing parts for people who have been abused as children. She's an excellent shamanic healer.

thx for the reply this help alot. my shaman recommended soul retrival and extraction. I read it and it was powerful. I'm scheduled to have mine on thursday. I will let you know how it went. thx again and if you have any more advice on this i would love to hear it

I think that shamanism is one of the many tools we can use to heal. I know it has helped me. I draw from many paths metaphysical in nature. I also think that there are alot of quacks out there , be very careful who you choose to lead you. I prefer to learn and study as much as I can, then take what fits me out of it and heal myself.
