when i was 16 i hung around a male friend one day his dad tried making moves on me ... pulled it out and made me touch it and his hands down my shirt and all , i told my friend that and he said oh my dad wouldnt do that so nutting was ever done about it but that hunts me and will hunt me till the end of time ...

why do people do this ? do they know it can scar people and they want to or do they just wanna hurt people or whats the deal with it please tell me

There\'s too many possible answers to that.
When I spoke to my mother about her behaviour her reply was "but you were my children so it was okay, I had a reason behind what I did ..." (she still exceeded \'normal\' boudries). She had no idea of the scars, and still does not understand.
As per these men - yes, they have issues to deal with and are wrong. Trying to know what they were thinking at the time is futile, unless you actually care to contact them.
It also hurts to have people say that it could not happen. It did. Remember, in Canada you have forever to press charges for this type of crime (although the law is more severe if the victim is under 16).

I\'m sure there are other "reasons", but it seems to me that this is what it boils down to.
Most people do not want to believe that someone they know and trust are capable to doing such things, so they deny that it is possible. Denial hurts! But just because she thought that her dad couldn\'t do this does not mean he wouldn\'t or didn\'t. I hate it when people deny or minimize the effects that unwanted sexual attention has on people who have gone through it and I hate that the perpetrators are usually believed over the victims.
