It's always frightening and overwhelming when you're taking new steps of healing. I know that feeling of being alone (even though I'm in a healthy supportive relationship), because no one can really know my feelings. And I remember feeling broken, like something precious had been stolen from me while I was a child. But I don't feel "broken" now, not anymore.
I'm frightened of choosing the wrong words here. This is what I strongly believe in: No huge part of you has gone and you're not less than you should be or could have been. You are you and all you are is still there. Some parts may show up strongly and others remain hidden for some time, but none disappear. You are whole. I know it doesn't always feel like this and I don't want to say in any way that your feelings are wrong. It's just that I used to feel the way your feeling now and I don't anymore. I'm trying to tell you that it does get better, actually.
*sigh* it's so difficult to find the right words. If I offended anyone I'm deeply sorry, it wasn't my intention at all.
*sending encouragement, hope and strength to you*
