i have been reading the Bible a lot lately: before i go to sleep and when i awake. as much as i do read the plan was to get to the Bible. i have this other book that discussed the power of praying. i have been making progress since i've been in therapy but i did still feel anxious at times - a lot.

well anyway, i have been praying everyday: Our Father which art in heavan, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forget our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

some days it's hard to go outside and be around people. i have bad mood swings. i prayed to God to change my attitude.

this morning when i awoke, it was like a snap - i felt no sadness. i felt no worries. i felt oddly comfortable with myself today. i know it is up to me to keep this miracle going.

i don't like my job - i get upset before i get in there. not today, i am feeling fine.

practice, practice, practice praying and ask God for His help.

hey blue, thank you. it wasn't a habit of mine neither but i'm asking God to make it a habit. i feel like this trauma has ruined my life. i don't like it that i'm overly sensitive - i cry a lot. i've just been a mess. i stopped socializing. i honestly would like my life back and live in peace. today was a unique day - i really felt at peace. i 'm afraid to talk about it b/c i don't know how i am going to feel tomorrow. God has given me this day b/c i did ask for it and i promised Him that i would change something in my life to improve it. i promised to say hi to everyone that i make eye contact with. i stopped looking at people or i was giving mean looks. little steps at a time is what my aunt is telling me. i have some major issues in my life i want to change but i have to take my time b/c some of them are huge and will be a challenge. i pray that you are doing well blue.

I do pray and I do believe in prayer. The help and strength of the Lord Jesus Christ is for sure the reason I'm living today and made it through all I've made it through in this life so far. I pray daily... sometimes all day long... just little whisper or breath prayers. The Lord knows your heart and what's on your mind before it's even there... but it's still important to pray to him! I won't ever force my beliefs on anyone but I do definately believe in prayer and his strength and healing!

~Most people can not believe in anything outside them self~
Doing so is the biggest step toward recovery and a real life that any individual, and especially one who has had his soul violated, can do.
