you know, our dreams can be very strange. it in no way represents the truth in some things and can be right on the money with others. like, years ago, when i was about 25 maybe, i had a very vivid dream that my dad and i were doing it... oh my gosh, when i woke up, i wanted to die... i was so thankful that it was only a dream. i wondered at the time why i would dream such a thing but now i realize that dreams are very odd at times. i would try to just relax about it and try to focus on the positive. you said that he makes you feel safe and you trust him. it could have been the result of your fears, but then again, sometimes a dream is just a dream.

It may just be a bad dream. Have you talked to your fiance about these dreams?

It's difficult to try and interpret your own dreams and nearly impossible with others', but I have definitely had my fair share of traumatic up dreams- just like the ones you're having..

Whenever I have dreams that a man whom I trust is violating me- it is usually indicative of how I am feeling emotionally about the significant men in my life. I once had a dream that my dad was forcing himself on me, and I was trying to fight and bite back- I then figured out that this corresponded with my recent foray into feminism and battling the patriarchy.

Have you been compromising yourself or your beliefs at all for any men in your life? That's the angle I would take with myself... but we are all our own best judge at our subconscious.

I'm sorry to hear you've been having these types of dreams- it must be disconcerting... good luck with trying to work them out :)

dreams are dreams and have may or may not have meaning in the real world. I think dreams are triggered from many places. So yes they can be triggered by a fear, feeling, smell, memory. The point is dreams are so not understood that i think it best to take them with a grain of salt.
