There's a chance I was sexually abused as a child by my father but we don't know... I've always felt like a slut or like I should be a stripper and that I deserve the very least and I used to think I wanted to be beat and abused because it would fill a void or something. I started these thoughts very young maybe like 7 or 8 but it could be attributed to my father's physical abuse toward my mother my brother and I and his enjoyment out of violent porn.
But I joined this group after I was raped by a foreign stranger a couple towns down. It was truly awful. It will be a year passed in September.
I also have bipolar disorder and took myself off of medication about a year ago and had horrific episodes of mania and psychosis in November/December.
Anyway... this is a hard time of year for me especially this year because it is the one year anniversary of two traumatic things.
I told my mom that I joined this group and she said that it's not for me, it's for people being sexually abused on a daily basis or people who have had that experience. I'm feeling like I don't belong. What do you think?

I, myself, can only remember being molested once, at the age of 4. So as far as I consciously know, I was only sexually abused once.

I only recall being molested once as a child, so I wasn't abused every day, but this site is exactly where I belong. Although I'm one of the lucky few who wasn't abused over and over again, I still suffer serious side effects from it. I agree with Sunshine: please stay!
