I was reading an online sermon from my church and it mentioned pedophilia. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse I find this upsetting. I planned to go to bed after I read it but now I am going to have to distract myself first so I don't have terrible nightmares about my abuse. It's just frustrating because it was not at all obvious that this would be mentioned in the sermon plus religion is supposed to be comforting to people and this is not at all comforting.
