Hi, I am new to this group and actually new to online posting in forums.
I was raped last year and since then it has been hell and back.
So my question is this.. Does anyone experience body numbness that doesn't go away? My numbness is in a specific part of one leg and it happens at the same time each night, weirdly the same time the assualt occured. I had a lesion in the same area after the assaul.
Does anyone have any advice for things to remove this numbness or make it less annoying? I initially dod yoga in the early stages to ground myself and have done walking each day but now that I am not doing yoga, I wonder if something like that might shift the energy?
Anything would be helpful if you can relate, please share your story/tips etc with me. look forward to being part of this group and thanks for reading.

Both Reiki and acupuncture are good ideas. And I suggest the following:
1) I suggest that you have your GP doctor check it out if you haven't already to make sure it is not physical even though it doesn't sound like it.
2) Find a therapist skilled in working with trauma
3) Find a cranial sacral bodyworker
4) Get Matt Atkinson's book, Resurrection After Rape
