Bad Emails

Ever since I have opend up about myself here, I have been receiving VERY vulgar emails. I do not open them at all, but the topics in the subject line are enough to shock me. they are always sexual and always deranged. Has anyone else received these and does anyone know how to make it stop? I immediately "spam" them when i see them. I never want to open them and i really want to stop receiving them. Is the only way to stop coming to this wonderful site?

i haven't had this happen so i don't think that it's from this site...i'm not sure. i'm sorry that it's happening though. is there a way for you to increase the security on your email so that they go to a junk folder or something?

my experience here is that it has been a very safe place to "tell all" without any harrassment from anyone. Have you shared your experiences with anyone that may want to upset you? I agree with LeoGirl - it may be a computer security problem and you might want to increase that. You can also report the vulgar messages to DS and the party sending them will lose their membership. I was hoping they weren't coming from anyone on this site, cuz I like it here, and the only way they coulda got my email would be to hack into this site cuz I have not shared my email sor even real name with anyone.

I haven'thad any problems here. I was concerned about one e-mail and reported to the abuse link. I was mistaken and recieved confirmation that the user was OK. Sorry about your problems. Take Care of yourself!!
