Dreams have been on the increase too for me and people I know.
How odd....
do you think that a light box would help you? I am very sorry about the wild and bizarre dreams. I had a nightmare some days ago. I also hate to nap and don't do it because it is not good for my sleeping troubles. Hope this gets better for you,
P.O.
Plus am trying out new med.
Too, I use SO MUCH CAFFEINE to get moving that it's prolly inevitable.

I have sleeping problems as well, though not nearly as bad as they used to be. After getting mono in high school, I've had a lot of difficultly falling asleep (though once I'm asleep I can sleep for...well...ever). If you haven't already, I'd recommend taking 3-6 mg of melatonin about 30 mins to 1 hour before bed. That helps me a lot! Though in the first month of taking it, my dreams were incredibly vivid and unusual.
I seem to have the reverse seasonal cycle. I can never sleep in the summer and in the winter I find it easier to sleep. Granted, I LOVE the cold. So much that I tend to have the windows open and fans on.
I do know a few people that have trouble sleeping during seasonal changes, so that is entirely possible.
I have had sleep issues since I was a kid, but finally had a good combination of meds that seemed to help with it. But of late, I will lie in bed for hours without going to sleep and when I do sleep the dreams are bizarre - as I say, no real changes in my routine, except the seasonal change (can't really feel responsible for that!). I tend to get really depressed in the winter - not only the less light issues and how I can't garden or do my favorite outside stuff, but also it seems a lot of members of my family passed in the winter and I think that this triggers some depression of it's own.
But I have not had such dreams and feelings of anxiety once I go to bed in a LONG time.
Just wondered if I was alone in this - sounds like there are some others also dealing with sleep issues, so....
Well, thanks again for the input.
