Hi I live in a bording home for people with low income. Most are men and a few woman. The manger is a woman. Most here suffer from some sort of mental/emotion'or learning/devlmental dissorder. Most of the men are nice but some that come through I question. There were 2 of them who made sexual comments twords me(I was raped). One never made me feel uncomfotable before and respced me. I think he ment to complamen be but it came out the wrong way. He asked me If I wanted to have sex with him and he would pay me.( I told him no) If he left out the paying me part it would not of botherd me, I still would of said no, but that made me feel cheap. The other situation: their is a youn man here that my roomate was doing his hair, she had it up and it looked like pom-poms. He asked in a joking voice if he looke gay, I told huim in a joking manner he did( nothing agenst gay people my uncel was one, the only famile member who suppered me when was raped) and that he looked like a poodle. He said if he was gay would I jump on his boner. I took that as in inapproite comment, as a women, not only as a rape surviver. The manger said that was a complemt. She knew I was raped. Am I takeing these statments the wrong way? Are the complements?
