Bottom line:
- should you have been able to trust this person to guide you if things were 'normal'; if 'yes' then you did what a child was suppoed to do (trust) and they broke that trust ...
- did they use force; if yes, then they failed to respect your body. Even a child knows that it is wrong to force another child ... they may not understand all the consequences, but they know it is wrong
As per your reaction; fear and uncertainty are strong motivators when we are children. It takes great parents to help us overcome these natural emotions. Do not beat yourself now for being a normal child back then ... that is what the perp preyed on ... he counted on it ...
That covers most SA cases as a child. At your age & even from what you write ... you know it's not your fault.
What I hear is that his words are still hurting you, as are his actions. This is the truth of what you are feeling, as I understand it. I'm sorry that there is nothing we can do, visiting a therapist can often help you through this.
