I just want to remind everyone to please refrain from posting personal information such as email addresses, cell phones, actual names, physical addresses etc. in posts. This is for your protection and if DS sees it, they most likely will delete it.
this is the internet and as much as we would like to think that everyone is telling the truth and most are but there are those who prey on others, looking for weaknesses and frankly looking to scam someone who will say anything and do anything to gain one's trust. Posting personal information is giving these predator's access to your personal information so for your safety, please refrain from posting these type of things in posts, on your profile and journals.

Kids in particular should be very careful of anyone being too friendly or - God forbid - offering to meet you offline. Another red flag is people wanting to move the conversation to social media or some other venue.
