You don't necessarily have to tell your story, unless you need to. It depends on what phase of recovery you are in. You may be okay to just look for support and advice on recovery from sexual assault.....
But, often when someone hasn't ever really faced what happened to them and dealt with it, then it is almost necessary to tell the story just to get it off of your chest and out of your mind.
You should think on it a while. Decide what you think will help you the most. Weigh how you will be feeling after writing it by doing a test run--writing your story on WordPerfect or sometihng--then decide if you want to put it here--you can always cut and copy.
