Hi, I'm new here and I'm here because I need to be. I am flawed and yet still seek to serve the Lord and remain a vigilant sentinel until the day of his return. I love the lord and try to seek him diligently so I can overcome my sin and be a good and loving servant.

My sex life is pretty much nonexistent right now, I believe in keeping myself pure till marriage, yet I have no girlfriend and I have been battling pornography for the last 4 years even with pleasuring myself. I have no one else I love outside my family and even if I did marriage would not be on the horizon anytime soon because of work/med school. I want to get a sex toy to help relieve some tension and get my mind off of sex and live how God would want me to. 

I don't want to go through life angry at God's laws. Pornography is a sin, for it is said in Matthew 5:28 "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." I want to live a pleasing life for the lord obeying his word and not causing other follows to stumble. So here's my problem: sex toy relieve sexual tension but is not like looking porn, it has no porn involved and can be used to effectively pleasure one's self without the use of lustful imagery. I don't want to store anyone to any new ideas with this or cause anyone to stumble but I would appreciate any thoughts or prayers on the outcome.

I am a sinner like you seeking to sin no more. For we have a heavenly father who loves us very much and gives us abundant love and grace, but if we truly love the father we will not abuse his grace or ignore his words to seek out our own desires, I pray for all who struggle with me in this and say God bless you for keeping up the good fight. 

But like you, I need help, and so here I am, I hope to both give help and receive it as we support each other to love others brothers and sisters of faith seeking to please our heavenly father.
