Triggers... So powerful

It's amazing how triggers will change your thought process in a second. A big one for me is stress.  I'll be fine, then BOOM! Or how your brain will try to trick you in believing ... Just one more time


I've cut it all out, the porn, phone sex and blocked all the sexter's. I will beat this ( no pun intended. Sorry humor is my coping mechanism)

Yeah, I totally feel ya on the whole stress piece. That totally triggers me, along with boredom. I'd say those are my biggest triggers. I also am prone to trick myself into believing that I can look at certain pictures that aren't necessarily pornographic, but are suggestive, without letting myself slip into old habits. It almost happened just now (browsing Reddit), but I thought to check in with you folks instead - and I'm glad I did!

Thanks for the support, for sharing in this fight, and for continuing to work on improving yourselves. It's helping me so much to be able to connect with you all.
