I've been struggling to stay focused on recovery since discovering a new trigger. My relationship has become a huge stressor as of late and I am back to self medicating with porn. What I've failed to do is build a support network, therefore, I'm reaching out to this community for anyone willing to encourage and share with me.

I'm really struggling to find the motivation to quit looking. Im currently attending SAA meetings online, but I still don't have a sponsor, or someone to hold me accountable

I recently found out that my porn/sex addiction is more like symptom of me being a love avoidant.
It helps making emotionally distance from your partner. So you not being able to take the intimacy with your partner is actually making you turn to your addiction.
