I found the vids from Terry Crews to be helpful. (Hes the actor who came out as a porn addict). He has a few short vids called "Dirty little secrets", maybe 5 or 6 of them, that were VERY inspiring. he talks about his addiction, how to get over the feeling of "shame". They are on his FB page under videos. He has a LOT of content so you might have to search for them. Hang in there man. You cant right a new chapter in your life if you keep re-reading the past. (Dont hate yourself for things you have done, you cant change it. Focus on today and tomorrow)

I think religion can make us feel as though we have to live up to a certain standard all of the time, but as a Christian, I believe God's love is radical and all-inclusive. Look at who Jesus hung out with... he never became angry at sinners that were making a sincere effort to change. He became angry with those who felt they were above it all. We'll all fall short. Just pick up where you left off and continue moving forward. God is with you on your journey. Don't beat yourself up.

It's hard to remember that it's ok to fail. I'm extremely hard on myself and have been trying to learn to be more forgiving. Look at the slip ups an opportunity to learn from
Mistakes and do better next time.

Don't hate yourself. If you feel that way try to stop
Yourself bring yourself to the now and tell your inner self something good. "I' did my best and will do better next time."
