Wow, that is terrible that he would allow it to go to that extent. I feel so bad for your daughters friend and can only imagine what is going thru her head. You're absolutely right in deciding to leave. That is WAY over the line, borderlining on criminal. Good luck to you Joy.

I have to say that after doing a lot of thinking that I was ready to support my husband.I realise he has an addiction.However,after the incident over the weekend with my daughter's friend seeing what she saw well,that's what made me sure that I needed to leave.It really breaks my heart but I know also that I'm doing the right thing.I don't take this lightly.

First give him a choice which is more important, the family or his addiction and see what he says then make your decision. I'm a recovering sex/pornography addict and it was really hard and i pretty much stuffed up the trust between me nad my now-ex-girlfriend. I am going to programs for my other problems and I have enquired about a program for my sex addiction.

I think it has gone way beyond forgiving and love and choices. The man is endangering children. That is not something that love can conquer or forgiveness can wash away. I do not agree that you should stay there for the sake of 'love'. Where is his love for you and your child?

I don't think he has any love for us right now.I think he is so far lost in his addiction that he can't see anything else.I ahve already given him a choice between the porn and our family and he chose the porn.There is nothing else for me to do now.

thats a guy thats gotta go. u cant stay with someone that does that. it is extremely sick and think of how many other children there is out there that need the safety.

I am leaving.I went to see about an apartment this morning and my daughter and I will be moving the first of the month.They have to paint and all.Until then I have people helping me with safety messures and stuff so I'm not alone.

I am sooo glad to hear this. You have turned the corner. Things will be tough at times after this, but you are doing the right thing by protecting your daughter and yourself. I know it is not easy.
