You are simply going through the withdrawal symptoms, those will last quite a while. There is no one more time, there cannot be. This too shall pass but one more time will put you right back to where you do not want to be
All you have to do is formulate a plan to address them, have a schedule planned out, a plan of action as to what you are going to do when those thoughts and urges come up. I used to go outside and go to the bookstore, the library, go for a bike ride, etc
Think about how you are going to fill the void that the addiction left, I used it to learn a new language, took courses, learned a trade, etc.
Be proactive, if you are not in a recovery program, you should be otherwise, you will be simply stopping the addictive behavior and nothing else, and without the tools to learn how to be porn free, you will fall right back into the addictive behavior
Last but not least, you are not powerless, it feels that way but it is not true. Addiction cannot thrive without your full participation. And not to mention that the longer you stay away from it the better off you will be.
So do nothing, you do not have to act out just because you have and urge and as the days wear on, the harder they will get. I had days where sleep was a luxury, and here I am 5 years later addiction free, so there is hope for you just hang in there
Lastly, when you get an urge, turn off the computer, walk away and do something else that is healthy and positive.
Hope this helps,
Wolf
Change your environment when you feel triggered. Go outside, take a walk in nature, take a bike ride, do something that engages you in a way that will settle your racing mind.
Consider a phone meeting on a daily basis. My husband does a phone meeting every single morning. It reaffirms his committment to sobriety along with his face to face meetings.
