Feeling better, even though I slipped

The last couple of days were rough.  My mom has that affect on me...makes me hate myself and everything else.  I felt ok when I got up, went out, had to work..bills to pay.  Met a couple of tweakers so we went to their place.  Stayed a few hours, got passed around, no put downs, no degrading me...just nice fun.  This did help me get my head right and yet, I know I slipped.

As long as you were in control and chose the situation I think it was a healthy slip. Keep going and stay strong

It is hard to not slip up and act out, you need to find your accountability partner.
Someone you can text or call when you feel your need to get your "FIX"
Find someone you can talk to that, can relate and will not judge you.

In a perfect world, I would have one. I usually do ok alone, just sometimes mess up. I'm cool with slips like this....it's the times I hurt myself after, sometimes during, that is when I hate myself...that desperate out of control. Lucky I dont get like that very much.
