Hey everyone, it's been a while since I last posted anything and I've been dealing with a problem with my recent divorce it's been about 4years now and I haven't had sex with anyone since my ex-wife and I've been constantly masturbating at least twice a day for the last 4 years, I've tried dating and I've had a hard time getting and keeping an erection except when masturbating and I'm afraid I may have permanently harmed myself, any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks.

The good news is that you have not done any "damage"...well, kind of. You basically need to retrain your brain to what stimulates you for sex. Overstimulation with porn or chronic masturbation will make it difficult to get aroused with your partner. You have to abstain from porn or masturbation for a period of time to reset the neuropathways in the brain. Some will say it takes 90 days, others will say 6 months, others 12+ months. It all depends on how you heal. If you can still get an erection with porn/masturbation, the good news the plumbing still works. How to abstain...thats why we are here.

Your body has to heal from all the jacking, I've been there. You also have to let your mind flush porn, because you are EXPECTING any date to be porn.....they are not. I've found my zinc was low too from all the jacking.

Give your body and mind a reset it will reset. You cannot have sex with porn it is a fantasy, human flesh in your mind doesn't make your thang hard porn does.

Leave it alone and heal. FIGHT FIGHT
