It takes the slightest provocation to make me rush for porn when I am super stressed out. Just a mention of something sexual and I find it hard to resist. It's clearly related most strongly to when I'm very stressed, so I think it's like any addiction - the need to feel in control of something and the need to feel better fast. But I have zero respect for people while I am watching porn and I become driven by lust and nothing else, detached from myself. It's just not at all how I want to live or who I want to be. I'm kind and mindful and I want to be that even when turned on.

You are not alone with this. Since my head injury, on a normal day, I just feel horny but usually I'm able to control it. Throw in some stress, I just meet randos in stores, parks, parking lots, just dont matter. Mild stress, I can usually just watch some porn, enjoy myself and I'm ok...but if its a lot of stress or I'm really upset, I just act out with most anyone. It sucks and I don't know how to control it.

I know how you guys feel. Stress really does it for me. It's related in all sorts of ways. Increased stressed, increases libido, but also if I'm horny already the smallest amount of stress sets me off

@BeccaSweet & @Mk1 thank you so much for your support and my heart goes out to you in your struggles as well. I'm not sure people realize that sexual things aren't always such a good thing, if they are coming from a negative source (in this case, stress) then they're not necessarily welcome. I would love to be able to say I use porn only as much as the next person and hey, it's normal right, but no...not when it is in control of you.
