I second that. Sex addicts don't have the perspective to give proper advice on this. A case in point is David08Ohio's response. Placing sex above all else is a sign of some warped values. Obviously it's important for you. If you love this guy and want to be with him, find ways to communicate with him how important it is to you. And how lucky he should feel, cause tons of guys would kill for a kinky girl. Help him get over the degrading part of coming on you by communicating how much you would enjoy it. Get him circumsized! Let him know that it's important enough to you that you might be tempted to look elsewhere. He should come around.

sex is an important part of a relationship but not the ONLY part...how does he treat you?? have you talked to him about how you feel? maybe try using sex toys, make it a bit more exciting?

Curious Disturbed - are you a sex addict? If so, it sounds like you may be projecting some of your fantasies onto your BF - i.e. the fact that he is not living up to your fantasy expectation of being into rough sex. If you are not a sex addict and simply so into rough sex that it's a deal breaker & he isn't into it, chances are you should move on to someone who is - and qualify such a thing up front before getting to know them on a humanistic level.

In my opinion, as a woman who has had sex for well over 25 years.... you are never going to be happy with him if you are not sexually happy with him. I too like sex just the way you have described yourself and I don't know if I agree that it is kinky, but either way, woman to woman, if he can't give and take it the way you need....it will never work for very long. Taking a pill to make it bigger isn't going to make either one of you satisfied in the long run. If that was the case.,,there are plenty devices out there he could just use to get you where you need. I will only add that if you care for him, letting him go so that he can find someone who prefers vanilla sex would be the kindest thing to do.

Although it is a rare think and I don't see where this has anything to do sex addiction, I have to agree with justawoman here on this one. Get another boyfriend - yeah I know, you like him and breaking up is hard to do, but in the long run you give yourself a chance to be with someone who could make you happy.

Hey I know, I tried to stick it out, took the path of least resistance. I am not happy. I love my wife, but the sex is pretty much not there. I don't see it as all my fault, but I knew before I married her, maybe even before we ever had sex, that we were not sexually compatible.

Sexual compatibility is EVERYTHING. The reason you are looking elsewhere is because you are bored. I have never cheated (I have at least that much of a conscience), but I have broken up with guys because of the sex lacking. The guy I'm with now is awesome. Which is great, but now I'm finding it hard to know if I love him for him, or because of the sex. If you are a sex addict you need to get over him and find someone who can at least keep you faithful.

Thanks for all the advice all has helped me come to the conclusion that I will have to break up with him before things get anymore serious. Plus hes looking "the one" and I don't think I am quite there yet until i finish my schooling etc. things were too rushed into too quick.
