Sex Offender in My Life Community Group
This is a NONJUDGEMENTAL group for people who have a registered sex offender in their life. Whether you support this person, are angry, hurt, scared or have accepted the situation, we are here for you. This group is for the day to day trials and tribulations of living with a RSO in their family or having one as a friend. FORGIVENESS DOES NOT MEAN FORGETTING!
I have never had an issue with my passport, I recently got a new one and no marking of RSO status exists in it.
Your husband has to notify the sheriff or department that he will be leaving the country. Once he does this the USA issues a INTERPOL green notice that the person is a sex offender and its likely to commit sexual crimes while visiting said country.
Most countries will deny entry just based on a green notice.

Germany, France, ect ect are pretty easy to get into.
Asian countries are impossible, and most have a requirement that if you were sentenced at lest 1 year you will be denied just based on that.
England, Mexico, Brazil, most tropical island, have turned me away even with a VISA.
Be aware USA immigration will be the worst (2-3 hours of interrogation and tearing apart luggage is common). Its not uncommon for them to take phone, laptop, camera, everything digital for 6-8months while they search for "evidence".
I buy my ticket and my wife tickets separately and travel as if we are not together. she keeps all the digital devices on her person and that has worked well to keep them in our possession.
Also be aware if you are off the registry in your state you are not free... its not a punishment its a public safety. if you move/visit another states you will need to re-register often for life.
