Sensory Integration Disorder is a neurological disorder causing difficulties with processing information from the five classic senses, the sense of movement, and/or the positional sense. Sensory integration disorders vary between individuals in their characteristics and intensity.
My mother always had difficulty getting me dressed
I would throw fits it was a struggle for both of us & I absolutely hated bath time but yet some days I loved it. I used to suck on my thumb a lot didn't stop until I was in 2nd grade.
As for the walking I was late also & I tip toed for while.
Nosies were always intense for me too still are I get startled easly.
From what I have looked into so far & understand about myself & others living with Sensory processing disorder is that our senses like touch, sound, sight, smell, taste & pain; & yes even our emotions is amplified 1000x more than what others without SPD experience.
Growing up I was scared of this world I didn't understand why everything around me was so intense I was often misunderstood a lot by teachers, fellow peers, family, my parents especially didn't understand or know how to handle me they didn't know anything about this..
I'm 19 years old & recently came across a website about Sensory processing disorder. Words can not express the amount of relief I feel to finally understand what I been going through & to know that I was never alone & I am no longer misunderstood but understood

My advice never give up on her or yell at her no matter how hard it may get always try to be patient & always let her know that she is loved by giving hugs if she likes hugs I know some SP don't like hugs.
I know I did. I needed a lot of them growing up.
I found this really interesting article it might help you it helped me realize a lot of things about my childhood:
