Senior Health & Aging Support Group
Aging is an important part of all human societies reflecting the biological changes that occur, but also reflecting cultural and societal conventions. There is often considerable social pressure in many societies to sustain denial of the aging process. Join this community to discuss general issues with aging and senior health.

They do an exam. No clothes off though. BP most of the time to see how that is. When they get to know you, it is easier to just tell them where it hurts and they go up and down the spine and massage and push the bone back into position. I have my neck vertabreas done too but you don't have to. If I have a head ache, she or he knows by feeling the neck and how tight it is. Sometimes I get complete releaf and sometimes I don't. It depends on how relaxed I am at the time. You lay on your stomach and back for different things. My lady chiro massages more than the man chiro but he is better at getting my neck in proper alignment.
It would be very hard for me to live normally if I didn't see a chiro every time my back gave me pain. Sometimes it is weeks in between and sometimes months. Just depends. You don't have to make regular appointments unless you want to. Any chiro who pushes you to have so many treatments is just wanting to line his pockets and not help your back. The only time I really needed that was for whiplash. Other than that, you go when you feel the need.
Hope this info helps.
