never having been married wouldn't necessarily send up a red flag but lack of one or more long term relationships might.

Morethanthis-it's not going to go anywhere. I had gone on a dating site just to have a look and see what was out there, (.I had been on dating sites in the past), and I noticed that a good amount of men have never been married. One was nice looking and had a nice profile, but he was never married. I decided not to join that site or any dating sites for that matter. So I remain alone. It sucks. I seriously don't even know what I want anymore. It seems like I want to date, but on MY TERMS ONLY. That's selfish-I know. But at this stage of life, I know what works for me and what doesn't.

Well I have been married only once and Im 56. There could be so many reasons he hasnt married so as a man I would say no red flags that i see. But do be careful.

Well Sweets. If he was serious about relationship he would have no reason to lie about that. Uatnless he is activeally married now. And Im sure you know the sighs of that. Dont take long to see that.

It remains Me of when I was about 25 and was in a bar, drinking a beer and playing some pool,..... My uncle (often a real screw up but usually married to some woman or another) happened to be there and there was a pretty good looking woman bar tending there at all that moment,.... He said to her as I was buying my beer,...... This is my nephew,.... 25 years old and never been married,.... He was being a jerk but the chick said toward me with the nicest smile,........'SMART!'...

All it takes is getting screwed over really hard by a woman and some men shy away from commitments. It's a shame because it keeps some good guys single.

Maybe he's gay, or too particular, too set in his ways, non-compromising, controlling, things like that? It's hard to say without knowing his story or anything about him. I wonder the same thing about a woman who's never been married.

I had a guy like that, and I am glad I passed on him after 6 years when he finally got violent with me one night. He had only been married once for a year, and I always wondered why all those women he dated had passed on him. Turns out, they were smart
