I am 61 and live in a small shore town. Not many women here. And, it seems as if younger women are attracted to me. Friends daughters and others. I don't want that. I'm flattered but not interested. I would hope to find a mature woman who has intelligent things to say. I am a Jimmy Buffet kind of person. Would hope to find my best friend someday.

Try this website, my brother told me about it. It's the only free datong one out there I think. They will have people your age, just meantion you don't want the younger ones in your profile. I had to do the same too. I, just about 60 at the end of the month. Give it a try, nothing to loose.

you might also want to try www.datehookup.com. it is a free dating site with lots of 50+ members. it's a great place to make lots of friends if you join in the groups and forums discussions. I hope you find your best friend too. peace and blessings.

Hello, I am having a hard time finding anyone below the age of 70--which is the median age at my church! That is about the only place I can meet people, but it seems that everyone I meet is already half of a couple. I find lots of people my age are also afraid to laugh. J.

I think I am going to give up on a Connecticut connection and look into the Myrtle Beach area. I will be going down to my home their soon. Will also check out the datehookup site. Thank you all for your input.

I did look at Plentyoffish but nothing caught my attention. They say if you are looking to hard nothing will happen. I think I am just going to forget about it for now. I don't like the bar thing. I do have a great TV. lol

have to tell you - you made my day - it is nice to hear there are men out there that don't want to date women much younger.
