Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
It is so hard to have a relapse after going for so long without. Is there somewhere you can go to be safe, like on a walk or to a friends house, so that you aren't alone and help fight the feelings? Find a dozen and nine things to do with your hands, crafts, knitting, drawing, writing, push ups, hand stands, jumping jacks, pencil sharpening? Maybe try cooking, the first months I stopped I made dozens of cookies, pies and breads just to keep busy.
Thnk positive thoughts, believe that you can stop the feelings, do something, anything else that is safe and healthy.
