Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
i was very close to my grandmother. she was a nurse. she always used to take me to the hospital and i'd get to talk to all the nurses there when i was younger. she died when i was 8. the lessons she instilled in me pushed me to join the army as a medic. and now that i'm in college, i'll be going into medical research. yes. there are times it still hurts. but i know i'm doing something she would be proud of.
find that "something" for you. you can do this. and if need be, see a counselor. there are a lot of counselors out there specifically designed for the grieving process. they can help you with it. just something to think about :)
