Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
My other suggestion would be are you in therapy? I know its cliche but therapy can really help, specifically DBT therapy. It would give you a place to vent and discuss the issues your struggling with in a "safe place" and help you learn the skills you need to stop self-harming. Not just coping skills but also distress tolerance and mindfulness skills that can really help you. I will warn you that DBT therapy can be frustrating at times and sometimes may seem like it isn't helping but if you stick with it it does get easier. Honestly in my case I think in some ways things got a little worse for me before they got better. But it is so worth it. That would be my strongest suggestion would be consider trying it. It has helped me a lot and I have been in very similar situations like you are with going for an extensive amount of time without relapse and thinking things where looking up, only to have more home life issues start up again and relapse so I really understand :)
With self-harm it can be hard to see that there is any other way and/or to see that things will get better but they really can and there's help out there if you're willing to give it a shot! Also you can add me and message me anytime if you want
I hope you won't mind my long response, and I hope I helped!
