Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
I have never heard of epiphenomenalism, but that sounds like it would be hard to handle someone like that at times. Does he see any type of therapist for that that could help him? Although he might just get into arguments with them as he does with you. But idk.
Idk if you should tell him that you cut or not. You don't have to, but it also seems like it would be hard for you not to tell him. Just so you know, you don't have to feel guilty if you don't tell him. Do whatever you think would be best for you!
