Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
If you can't find support elsewhere there is always the group. Thank you for opening up to us about this.
You're strong and you're going to get through this. I know you will. Getting rid of the blades really helps with temptations. Also write down every day that you are clean. Make every day an accomplishment and don't be too hard on yourself if you relapse. You are human and it happens. But it doesn't mean you will cut forever. There is healing from this. Keep on staying strong and trying. You can make it through this.
I have every reason in the world to be happy, and I was doing so well, and now I just feel like every accomplishment I've been so proud of for the last year, mean nothing.
There is so much more to my story, but I feel like no one really cares to listen. Therapy is a joke to me, every time I try to speak with my mom, she pretends to listen and preaches the same stuff to me about making a choice to be miserable and dwell on the past and letting go, but I feel I can't let go unless I talk to someone and try and get my side across.
I can feel so happy and fine for a day, but as soon as I'm alone and left with my thoughts, I get miserable. I hate these feelings and I thought they were gone, but they just keep creeping back up on me.
