Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
But like with any addiction, you have to accept the fact that there's going to be relapses. Whether it be once, or multiple times. If it was a easy habit to quit (without relapses), then everyone would be able to do it. Don't kick yourself for relapsing though. Everyone does. It's not the end of the world. But just make sure you pick yourself back up. You went 2 years without self-harming, and you can make it another 2 years and hopefully more.
