Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
2. Start with your left hand by making a fist, hold it, then relax it.
Tighten your left arm by locking it straight out. Then relax it.
Do this for every part of the body. You have to concentrate on each muscle and make sure it really gets stretched and then relaxed. Don't move on to another part of the body until the one part is relaxed. Do your facial muscles too.
3. Now think of one thing...
One thing I'm thankful for?
One thing that makes me laugh?
One person I could encourage today?
One thing I need to do next....
